Celebrities who have tattoos are one of the driving forces in popular culture that makes tattoo acceptable by many.

Years ago, tattoos are considered to be for prisoners and other outcasts of the society such as rogues, criminals and unscrupulous people. Celebrities such as movie stars, rock band singers and sports personalities have started to flaunt exceptional tattoo design on their skin and before you know it people are starting to imitate their favorite celebrities via tattooing their own skin.

Johnny Depp has “lily Rose” on his chest along with the name of his mother “Betty-Sue” on it and a sparrow flying over the water with the name of his son “Jack” below it. Johnny Depp also has a ribbon tattoo that has “Wino forever” written on it. It was said to be previously “Winona Ryder forever.”  However, after the break-up with the actress it was shortened. There are 14 tattoos to be exact in the body of Johnny Depp.

Tattoos become the fashionable thing in Hollywood. Celebrities helped make the tattoo culture flourish and created a job for artists and designers. This would show that tattoo designing and tattooing per se is here to stay for a very long period of time and is a part of our culture.
