Celebrities with tattoos – Rihanna

When it comes to tattoos, Rihanna is a huge fan. In fact she likes them so much that she now has a dozen of them on her body. She also likes to spend quite a bit of her free-time hanging around tattoo parlors. This stunningly beautiful celebrity who was born in Barbados has a lot of tattoos most of her fans haven’t even noticed half of them because they are tiny and in places of her body where you wouldn’t really notice them. What follows is a list of her tattoos;

-          In her left ear is a star

-          Down her hip is a Sanskrit prayer

-          She has an music note on her ankle

-          Behind her right ear is a music note

-          On the back of her neck she has a patch of star dust

-          Down her back she has a trail of stars

-          Behind her ear is the Pisces star sign

-          On her right hand and wrist is a tribal tattoo that stands for love and strength

-          On her left side is he Arabic words “Freedom in God”

-          On her right index finger is written “shhh…”

-          On the top of her left shoulder is the date 11-4-1986

Rihanna is one of those celebrities who love to talk about their tattoos. In the past she has explained the meaning behind her different tattoos when asked about them in interviews. She explains the date on her left shoulder is the date of birth for her best friend in roman numerals; her best friend has Rihanna’s date of birth tattooed on her body.

Rihanna is quite open about the fact that she likes to hang around tattoo parlors. She admits that when she is in New York she likes to hit the tattoo studios around SoHO for a bit of socializing; even if she has had a really busy photo shot she still likes to make time for these visits. Tattoos just really intrigue her and she is also really attracted to the whole tattoo culture. She sometimes goes with friends, but has not problem going alone; she never brings her security people with her.
