It really does seem like the whole world is obsessed with celebrities. The public wants to know everything about them and this includes wanting to know everything about their tattoos. Fans want to know all about the body art that their heroes decide to have applied to their bodies and they are particularly interested in the reasons behind these tattoos.

One of the people that people are interested in is Penelope Cruz. In interviews about her tattoos you will find that Penelope doesn’t give much information away. She seems to be very secretive about the whole thing and is reluctant to explain the meaning behind any of her tattoos. To be fair, it is her own business and there is no reason why she should have to explain herself. She does come across as a bit odd though, considering that most people just love to talk about the meaning behind their tattoos; even if they are famous.

She was previously interviewed about the meaning of the “883” that she has tattooed on her ankle but she told the interviewer that she never tells people the reason behind it. She claims that it is not an area code; in fact it is not any of the things that people have speculated about. She is not bothered by people having theories about her tattoo, but she admits to feeling a bit bemused as to why they would care.
