Celebrities With Tattoos – Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp is one of the hottest properties in Hollywood these days, and he is now probably the highest paid actor to be found; apparently he is getting something like $50 million dollars for each of his films these days. If you are a big fan of Johnny then you probably realize that he has quite a few tattoos on his body.

Johnny has about fourteen tattoos on his body. The tattoo that most people know about is probably the one on his arm that says “wino forever”; at one time this tattoo said Winona forever. Johnny also has an Indian Chief from the Cherokee tribe in full headdress also on his arm; he has this as a reminder of his ancestral origins.

Johnny Depp also has a few tattoos that are based on themes around his family. Over his heart is the name of his daughter, ‘Lily Rose’. On his forearm he has his son’s name with a sparrow above it. On his bicep is his mother’s name in the middle of a heart. He also has some type of triangle tattoo above his bicep. On the inside of his forearm is a symbol from one of his movies, The Brave.

As well as the tattoos mentioned above, Johnny also has some random tattoos in different areas of his body. On his right index finger are three rectangles and he also has the number three between his left index finger and thumb. On his lower right leg he has a skull with the words ‘death is certain’. On his right ankle there is also some type of symbol.

When asked about his tattoos Johnny likes to explain that his body is like his journal. His tattoos are there to mark special times in his life whether they have been done by a professional tattoo artist or by a knife.
