Celebrities with tattoos – Joel Madden

Joel Madden is not only the lead singer of Good Charlotte but he is also Nicole Ritchie’s boyfriend. As well as this he also has quite a large selection of tattoos; in fact there are all over half of his body.

He has so many tattoos that he was refused admission to a plane in Britain because the crew was afraid that his tats would cause too much offense to other passengers. Joel was understandably upset and shocked by this and ended up covering up most of his tattoos with a long sleeved shirt. This was a real shame and this was discrimination; the exact same as discriminating against people because of their religion or race.

Here is a list of some of the tattoos that Joel has;

-          He has a dragon tattoo on his right calf

-          Joseph ( the foster father of Jesus) is tattooed on his left forearm

-          On his left wrist is the word ‘Salvation’

-          Joel has an outline of a star tattoo on both shoulders

-          He has an Irish flag on the back of his upper right arm

-          He had the word ‘Benjamin’ written above praying hands and underneath is the words, ‘Saved by Grace’.

-          He has AMC on his right hand and t his stands for ‘American Murder Crew’. He and some of his other friends form DC all have this same tattoo.

-          He has the outline of a star with ‘truth’ on it on his left wrist

-          He has his surname tattooed on his lower right arm

-          He has the face of Jesus on his lower right arm

-          He has the face of the Virgin Mary on his lower left arm

-          Joel has a cross with a banner around it as well as two doves on his upper left arm

-          Under the cross on his left arm is a rose

-          He has the Chinese symbol for mum mom on his lower leg sleeve

-          He has a heart with a shooting star on his left calf
