Celebrities with tattoos – Janet Jackson

It turns out that Janet Jackson is no stranger to the tattoo gun; in fact some of her tattoos are quite nasty and proof that her first name isn’t baby. Janet is like other celebrities in that most of her tattoos are barely noticeable. She currently has four tattoos and there is a list of them;

-          Janet has a really nasty tattoo on the crease of her right thigh. It is the image of Mickey Mouse and Minnie mouse doing something that would make many people blush; the tattoo has Minnie giving Mickey oral sex.

-          On the small of Janet’s back you will find a Borneo-style scorpion

-          On the back of her neck is a Japanese kanji. This is viewed as being as symbol representing friendship or balance and continuity. Two of Janet’s friends who work with her as dancers also share this same tattoo.

-          On the inside of Janet’s right wrist is a “Sankofa”. This is a symbol which belong sot King Adinkera of the West African Akan people. The tattoo means something along the lines of, it is not taboo to go back and get things which have been forgotten.

When people hear about Janet’s Mickey and Minnie mouse tattoo they sometimes find it a bit inappropriate and shocking. Janet does not agree with their assessment. She claims that during her twenties and thirties she was involved in a lot of sexual experimentation and the tattoo arose out of that time. She describes the tattoo as Minnie and Mickey doing the nasty and she sees it as being quite funny and that it should be taken to mean that sex is fun and good and nothing to be ashamed about.
